Serving Florida care communities for over 40 years

Our mission
For over 40 years, Mobile Eyecare Associates has been dedicated to bringing quality eye care directly to patients of all ages in nursing homes, assisted living and memory care facilities, independent living communities, and rehab centers. Through timely care and early treatment of eye conditions, we work to prevent blindness, enhance vision, and promote lifelong eye health, so every patient can live more safely, confidently, and independently. We partner with every facility through open communication, support for its care teams and compliance needs, and respect for each person we serve.
Services

Everything a clinic visit offers, delivered on site

Comprehensive eye exams

Vision testing, eye pressure checks, and a full health exam of the eye using clinic-grade ophthalmic instruments.

Glasses, fitted and delivered

Patients choose frames during the visit. We return to fit and adjust the finished glasses in person.

Eye disease management

Our optometrists diagnose, treat, and monitor glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye disease on site. When a patient needs surgery or specialty treatment that can only be done in a surgical setting, we recommend a referral to an ophthalmologist and notify the facility so its staff can arrange the appointment and transportation.

Repairs and adjustments

Bent frames, loose screws, and lost nose pads get fixed during our regular rounds.

Reports for care teams

Nursing staff and families receive clear exam summaries and care notes after every visit.

No charge to your facility

There is no charge to your facility for our services. We bill each patient's insurance directly, including Medicare, Medicaid, and most major plans, and offer a private pay option. See accepted insurance.
